Adding a second shooter ensures comprehensive coverage filled with those magical micro-stories, and I would recommend investing in one, especially if you are planning a day with 120+ guests or multiple locations. Your gallery will always be edited by myself personally, in my own signature style for a perfectly cohesive collection.

Yes. Balancing natural candid moments with timeless family portraits is an art. These are often the images you’ll look back at with generations after generations and which will evoke the most emotion long after some of your loved ones may no longer be with us and so if they are important to you and your family, they are important to me. Just like every other element of my work, I approach these with a relaxed, artistic style, ensuring they complement the overall magic of your day while allowing you to remain truly present.

I guide gently when required to create polished, editorial portraits and help you to feel comfortable, relaxed and like the best versions of yourselves, but I predominantly prefer to remain unobtrusive, allowing natural moments to unfold organically. The sensitive balance of structure and spontaneity allows your final collection to feel like art, but still entirely authentic and true to you and your day.

Without a doubt. No matter how you identify or define your relationship, I am always honoured to be a part of your wedding day. My current lead time is approximately 10-12 weeks from your wedding day and this is subject to change depending on my schedule and the time of year. You will be updated accordingly and I will always endeavour to deliver within or ahead of this timeframe, but I will never ever rush a collection. I ensure each frame receives the care and attention to detail it deserves. A curated preview is sent within 48 hours and should you require the rest of your images sooner, please get in touch in advance to discuss my priority service.

You will receive approximately 400-600+ carefully edited images, depending on your chosen coverage. For intimate weddings or elopements you will receive 150+ and for engagement shoots it’s approximately 50-100+.

In the week following your wedding, you will receive a handful of preview photos (if included in your coverage option), offering a sneak peek of what’s to come. 10-12 weeks later, your complete wedding collection will be delivered—a perfect occasion to cozy up with a glass of wine and relive the joy of your special day. Your online gallery provides the convenience of downloading all images in both high and web resolution. You'll also enjoy a year of cloud storage to securely preserve your wedding images, with the option to extend access as needed for an additional fee. 

I will always aim to keep your images archived forever in case the worst should happen, but of course eternal access is impossible to promise, so I guarantee to hold the photos for the first year. I would highly recommend that you download your images in hi-res as soon as possible and back them up in multiple locations to another additional hard drive as well as in the cloud for total peace of mind.

Authenticity is key. I shoot as I see, and I believe in telling the story as it was. Beyond my signature edit, any retouching is approached with a light, sympathetic hand. Whilst I am happy to smooth some blemishes or remove a few dirty marks if required, I will not significantly alter the appearance of a person or setting. My goal as a documentary photographer is to capture real-life moments with an editorial edge, occasionally ‘tidying’ scenes at my discretion if I feel it enhances the image. A gloriously balanced fusion of gently posed Vogue-worthy portraits and gritty, raw, honest moments and immeasurable love. Further retouching beyond my usual signature approach may be available for an additional fee upon request if required.

Yes, I'm fully insured. Your memories are backed up securely on the day to multiple locations including a separate hard drive which is stored in a fire-proof safe at an alternative address as well as in the cloud. My public liability insurance adds an extra layer of protection in respect of my service to you and can be provided upon request. Venue enquiries in this regard are always welcome.

I appreciate your interest in the raw image files. However, I don't provide them as standard as they don't fully represent the true essence of my art. The creative process extends far beyond the moment the shutter is pressed, involving a meticulous journey of editing and refinement. Consider it the backstage of my theatre, like a chef serving you a carefully crafted and presented meal in a luxury restaurant vs a pile of raw ingredients. My commitment is to deliver a polished and finished product that reflects the utmost care and attention to detail and this forms part of your investment in my value. Exceptions may be made for specific circumstances, such as corporate branding projects or others working in creative industries, whom might have access to the professional software required to access a raw file, but this would need to be agreed upon in advance, subject to copyright terms and additional fees.
